Product Offerings and In-App purchases¶
Preparations¶
Configuring Google Play Console¶
To enable Android in-app purchase you need to configure your Google Account, see Configuring Google Play console
Configure the Red Bee service¶
Contact Red Bee media, they will need the following information
- package name (we may already knows this)
- GoogleCloud service account key, A JSON retrieved from the GoogleCloud console
- email address of the GoogleCloud service account email address
Managing Product Offerings in the portal¶
If you want to offer In-app purchases from your White label Apple and Android devices
Enabling a product offering for Google Play in-app purchases¶
In the GOOGLE SKU ID field enter the Google play SkuId (a.k.a. product Id)
Multiple Product Offerings may refer to the same SkuId.
In-app purchases and prices¶
When an in-app purchase is made of a product offering, the price the user will see and pay will be retrieved from Google Play or App Store.
Any price stated in the product offering will only be relevant for purchases on the web using e.g. Stripe.
The same is true for the VAT part of the price.
The Red Bee service will not know or report any amounts paid via Google Play or App Store.
NOTE The price is presented to the user by Google and will be ín the user's currency and at a conversion rate determined by Google.
Promotions are not supported¶
A product offering enabled for in-app purchases may not be attached to any promotions/voucheres.
Free period and discounted payments are not supported¶
A subscription product offering enabled for in-app purchases can not be given any free period or discounted payments.
Renewal period¶
For subscription products offerings the effective renewal period will be retrieved from Google Play and App Store, who wil also actually do the renewals the renewal period in the product offering is for end user information and used for any on-web subscriptions.

Managing Products in Google Play¶
- Make Google product globally available. Make any geographical limitations in the Product Offering
- Resubscribe is not supported
- Pause subscription is not supported
- Multiple base plans are not supported
